Michael Jackson: A talent to abuse children
Although I was sorry to hear of Michael Jackson’s death yesterday at 50, and I sympathize with his family, I can’t forgive the damage he has caused to untold innocent children over the years.
Yes, he was found innocent of child abuse, but O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake were found innocent of murder. It’s good to have money and fame.
I recall his two-hour interview on ABC in 2003. I wrote about Jackson in my column at the time and I’d like to repeat a portion of the column here.
The self-proclaimed “King of Pop” is a strange person, even by entertainment industry standards. First we saw the spectacle of his dangling his small child off a balcony with a towel over the child’s head. This reckless and stupid action was the opening act for the recent TV interview and tour of his “Neverland” ranch.
I could only watch about 15 minutes of the interview, but 27 million viewers braved the whole two-hour special. Aside from his bold-face claim that he had only two operations on his nose — when clearly his face has been altered extensively — his disclosures of “entertaining” children was deeply troubling to me.
From what I saw and heard him say, it seems to me that the authorities should conduct a criminal investigation into possible child abuse. He should be investigated to determine if he is a fit father to his two small children and whether he has endangered the welfare of children when he held “sleep-overs” with them. I think the parents who allow their children to spend time with him should be also be investigated.
The largest nation-wide organization concerned with child abuse prevention has requested that the Santa Barbara, California District Attorney investigate Jackson.
“By his own public actions and statements, Michael Jackson has raised enough red flags for us to be concerned about protecting the welfare of children with whom he comes in contact, including his own,” wrote A. Sidney Johnson III, the President and CEO of Prevent Child Abuse America.
“Michael Jackson should not be exempt from the oversight of the child protective service system by virtue of his celebrity,” Johnson added.
In 1993 Jackson was charged with abusing a 12-year-old boy, but that case ended with a reported 20 million dollar settlement. The website www.thesmokinggun.com has posted the documents in which the boy alleged that Jackson sexually abused him.
I used to think Jackson was a cute kid and a talented entertainer, but clearly today he has some serious mental issues. Michelle Malkin, a syndicated columnist who is always blunt and on target, wrote in her column about the balcony incident and noted that Jackson treated his 9-month-old baby like a headless yo-yo.
“If I were the mother of the writhing, towel-smothered infant who nearly plunged to his death at the clammy hands of Michael Jackson,” Malkin wrote. “I’d have this crotch-grabbing celebrity thrown in jail faster than you can say Bad. “
My view has not changed since I wrote that column in 2003.
Yes, we can mourn the passing of a talented entertainer. And although we can understand that he himself had an odd and abusive upbringing, according to most reports, we should not forget or forgive the damage and hurt he has caused children.
Michael Jackson was able to get away with it thanks to his fame and his fortune.

How do you know what he got away with or not got away with. People wanted the fame and fortune too, so why not accuse this famous person of things and get him money. What does it say about the parents that allowed their children to go there and spend the night. Why aren’t they being investigated, why haven’t they been locked up, why haven’t their children been taken away? Why because it was Michael Jackson. Even after he was accused of these things parents still allowed their children to be with him. This is a sad day. God have mercy on all of those that speak badly of the dearly departed.

I know about Jackson’s despicable actions as I followed the cases.
I read the testimony and other court documents, and lastly, I heard Jackson’s own comments and saw film of his actions. Case Closed.
I called for the parents of the children left in his care to be investigated as well. Those awful people accepted money, gifts and a touch of fame in exchange for their young children to be used as playthings for a 40-something-year-old man. They are pimps.

Character traits of the predatory paedophille are
1. Appearing on the surface to be loving and caring.
2. When found out they tend to blame an abusive childhood and using this as a reason to explain and justify their actions.
3. A complete lack of understanding of the hurt that they have caused.

The last time I checked Michael Jackson was a member of a large family none of which to date have ever been accused of sexually abusing children. Jackson paid off one of his accusers. The children that he abused know what he did to them and I believe that after Jessie Jackson and Quincy Jones and the rest of the gang relinquish with their very public grief the whole truth will come out about who this paedophille really was and the very real pain and confusion that he caused alot of innocent vulnerable children.

First off Joe, where are all these children he sexually abused? During the first trial, the young kid denied any kind of inappropriate relationship with Michael UNTIL his father (who was a dentist) put him under Amytal. Even after the kid’s accusation, the mother REJECTED that anything wrong had happened and it wasn’t until later when the father threatened to take her to court for custody of the kid.
They interview several children, including Wade Robson (the dancer) who slept in Michael’s bed and he said nothing ever happened. The settlement came from being lots of tension between all the lawyers Michael had and not from him being scared of going to trial.
I won’t even bother going into the 2003 trial because it was full of shit.

Michael Jackson was an incredible talent as well as an amazing person. I truely believe he thought of children as innocent, pure, sacred, whatever and that it was truely okay to hang out with them. I’m sorry to say that this country has lost a founding principle. “Innocent until proven guilty” was one of the things we were taught as children that made this country great. Yeah so OJ got off. the court can’t be right 100% of the time. However to believe that because OJ got off, therefore a celebrity who is accused is automatically guilty is ludicrous. I’d also like to point out that he was sued after he talked about bring children to neverland and the internet talked of how he must be a pedophile. The truth will come out . I remember his music fondly. I remember where I was and what I was feeling when I first saw the thriller. The man has died under sad and lonely circumstances and the dark glassed mourners mourned as the kids who were finally released from their veils took to the podium.
