Times must really be tough in the age of Obama
We’ve got a few posts here on When Falls that deal with the TSA, full body scanners, and enhanced pat downs. But I think we’re missing the real story when we discuss this issue. We’re focused on the loss of liberty, spending all of our time debating “Give me liberty, or give me a grope”, as Mark Steyn says, and not enough time focused on what is really important.
People are really, really, really desperate for work and this story proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
IF intensive pat downs are now standard policy for people who are uncomfortable with being exposed to radiation, a group of people which includes the pilot’s union, and the job requires a TSA agent to …. well… you know…Who is volunteering for that job?
I mean, think about what that person is actually saying to themselves…
“I could get paid to go feel up other dudes all day. Man, that sounds like a GREAT career opportunity!”
I have trouble believing that this is what is actually happening.
We all jokingly point out that “there are jobs Americans just won’t do”, don’t you think this one is now right up there at the very top of that particular list of occupations?
Where is the outrage from the TSA employees at being asked to …
You know…
I, personally, wouldn’t feel at all comfortable with that job duty. I’d probably feel uncomfortable enough that I’d have to go looking for employment somewhere else… I’d pick cabbage and apples with the migrant workers before I’d feel up random dudes at the airport all day.
Just sayin’. The migrant workers can find jobs here, I could follow their lead before I decided that I’d rather… you know… to other completely random strangers.
It’s going to take a special kind of person to want to do this. The average American doesn’t resemble Hollywood perfection by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t know if I’m making myself clear enough here…
I predict that TSA turnover rates will spike dramatically.

Larry Craig would probably be the first in line for this job….. just sayin that there probably are some pervs already in the line up……. they were vetted by the same guvment that initiated this insane procedure.
Great different perspective.
