Lucifer watch: Satanists infiltrate Russian school… or do they?
Once you start keeping an eye out for Satan, he seems to pop up everywhere. Thanks to HP Lovecraft I now have a link to an English language report on the Satanists arrested in Yaroslavl in 2008. And here’s even more info on Russia’s cannibal Satanists. Foul stuff, indeed.
Meanwhile I was sent this video of some Black Metal enthusiasts performing a Satanic show and tell for their classmates which has to be seen to be believed. I’m a bit late on this one as it’s had over a hundred thousand hits. But better late than never:
It’s difficult to make out any of the words, but although I heard the odd “Satan” shrieked aloud, after a while I became suspicious, as the oft repeated ‘Nastya’ is a girl’s name. Then I found a translation of the lyrics:
Childhood, childhood, where are you running to,
Childhood, childhood, where are you hurry to.
I’ve not enough played with you
Childhood, childhood, where are you going to, wait.
I want, I want again
To run across the roofs, to scare pigeons,
To banter on Natashka, to niggle her braid,
To ride on bicycle across the yard.
Old ladies looking at us,
They don’t recognize yesterday prankster.
Me and Natashka going across the yard,
And we don’t care about anything else but us.
Not very devilish. Further detective work then uncovered this horror:
Yes, it’s the same song, performed by legendary Russian boy band ‘Gentle May’.
Thus our Satanic friends are actually taking the piss, and they’re not very Satanic at all. In fact, the original pop version is far more diabolical.
