Bad mommy taunts kid with shrimp
Posted on June 4th, 2009 by Amy Boshnack
At first I thought this “Scared Shrimpless” video might be funny… the irrational fear of a kid. Because really, it’s not like the shrimp is alive; it’s just a little slimy. But the longer I listened to her screams the more I wanted to punch the mother. Lesson learned from this episode of Bad Parenting: First, intentionally scare kid with slimy shellfish, then try to calm her down with five seconds of gentle encouragement, and when that doesn’t work, call her a wuss and continue to torment her with said object. Because that’ll learn her. This mom is a bully.

Eh…..I dunno. I guess I see your point Amy, but then again… there is something to be said for not allowing you kid to grow up with bizarre irrational fears, only to end up exhibiting severe douchebagery as an adult. Of course, to subscribe to her method would require one to believe that Flooding is a valid psychological technique and have a heart as cold as ice to do it to your own child. I’m with you… she may need a punch in the face.
No, I agree. The mom is a bully and needs the shrimp shoved into her eyeballs. The child’s fear is rational to HER and that’s the only thing that matters! Notice how she meanly backs the kid into a corner so she can’t escape, how fair is that? I think that woman needs to be scared herself and not be able to escape to see how it feels!
Nasty, nasty woman!!
The point of the video was to get the audio screams of the kid on film to reflect fame on the mother…
I bet the mom spent the first years of the child’s life stressing the importance of being kosher.
