Paranormal

I dream I make a surprise visit to Uncle Moose and Aunt Yetta’s enormous house in Central New Jersey. I have with me an envelope that has to be mailed, and Aunt Yetta is very concerned about it. I tell her not to worry. After I settle into a chair, I am called to watch a psychic on television. The psychic, a French Jew dressed as a shepherd, demonstrates his ability to communicate with animals. A ferocious pregnant llama is protective of her territory, so the French Jewish psychic transforms himself into an emaciated lamb to gain entrance into the llama’s environment. The psychic communes with the llama.

I dream an episode in which the angel of death falls in love with the manager of a combination clothing store/video game parlor. The angel takes human form, and he charms the manager. He lures her to his earthly lair, where he lives with other angels. He convinces her to live in this house of ghosts, and that when she dies he will love her forever in the hereafter. Meanwhile, my Uncle Moose and Aunt Yetta are playing chess in a display case in the living room.

I dream I have been watching horror movies and I get up to go to the bathroom. As I try to turn on a light, I hear a voice very much like Porky Pig’s coming from the light bulb. I am terrified. I run out and determine that the Porky Pig voice is coming from somewhere in the house. I go to various rooms and the Porky Pig voice says “Not here. N-n-n-n-n-not here.” I finally realize the voice is coming from my brother’s room. His radio is on, but between stations. I turn off the radio and the voice grows faint. I unplug the radio and the voice ceases. The voice, I reason, is a supernatural force that knows my brother.
