I dream I am Dr. House and Gail is Dr. Cuddy. I am looking after Cuddy/Gail’s health hotel, and I receive a psychic message that the showers are to be taken over by evil spirits. I tape down the sides of the shower curtains. Suddenly, blood and guts start to spray from the nozzles, filling up the showers. I exorcise the demons and all goes back to normal.

I dream I am in our bedroom, and I feel what appears to be a spider web. I want to turn on the lights to investigate, but Gail is asleep and I don’t want to interrupt her. I investigate in the dark. The spider web is tacky and thick; about the diameter of the string that would be around a bakery box. I decide that the spider that spun this would have to be an enormous tarantula. Even so, I don’t turn on the lights because I don’t want to alarm Gail.

May 4, 1999
I dream Gail and I are attending a funeral in a McDonalds. The deceased is the father of a middle-aged, overweight bald man who claims to be doing everything exactly the way his father wanted. There is a six-foot comedy chicken on the altar, and there are several processions in and out of the McChapel. Gail is growing impatient with the unorthodox rituals. Some people show up to eat and refuse to leave. There is a ruckus in the elevator because a plastic covered McCorpse is being wheeled in on a chair. We head back into the chapel and I admonish Gail for being irreverent.
