Dodgeball Donnie goes a wrestlin’

A couple weeks ago, the NCAA Division I wrestling finals took place at Wells Fargo in Philly. I’m frustrated with The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s coverage of it [1]. Even though over 100,000 fans attended the three-day tournament and local-ish Penn State won the team crown (again!), the only news Sunday readers got (I still have the hard copy delivered!) was a B-section story that Dodgeball Donnie attended.

Even finals box scores weren’t mentioned in the Sports section, and the B-section story didn’t dig in much. While it nodded to the inconvenience this Presidential visit caused some fans, it might have asked how much it cost taxpayers, especially when this administration is destroying people’s lives with its chest-thumping cost-cutting.

And of course Dodgeball Donnie didn’t attend to give this “niche sport” some visibility, as one fan said in the story. Everyone knows this flabby narcissist loves being associated with tough guy activities. He went to give himself some visibility, and I guess he got just that.
