… Thomas M. Disch, [1]the great and too much unsung author [2]of The Genocides, Camp Concentration and 334 who on this day two years ago declared his own independence from a world he could no longer endure by opening up his skull with a liberating blast from a gun.
Mr. Disch, your prose was pure, joyous darkness and your poetry was damn fine too. I still visit the ghost ship [3]you left us from time to time.
