Tyler Andrews

Tyler Andrews is a blogger, a political junkie, and a Goldwater-style individualist. If he didn’t hate groupthink, Tyler could very well be the standard-bearer for the “church going, poker playing, freedom loving, NFL watching, libertarian leaning, registered Republican trial attorney Americans of Swedish-Canadian-Chinese descent” voting bloc — which is rapidly increasing its numbers and clout in several swing states.

A graduate of UCSB and the University of San Diego Law School, Tyler was previously a legal intern at the Cato Institute and a chapter President of the Federalist Society. He spends an inordinate amount of time studying and writing about the oh-so-sexy subject of positive vs. negative Constitutional rights.

Tyler is a Southern California native who is currently living in Sin City, working as a litigation attorney for a large international law firm, and campaigning as a 2010 candidate for the Nevada State Assembly. In the vast time left to spare, Tyler ensures that anyone within earshot (or screenshot?) knows his opinions on just about everything.
