Sean Cunningham
Sean Cunningham’s career includes writing the Drama Desk-nominated God Hates the Irish (which Mike Nichols called “daring, subversive, and violently funny” and The Irish Echo hailed as “possibly the most foul-mouthed Off-Broadway production ever”), serving as an editor for both Maxim and Maxim for Kids (really), and working for a mix of publications including Esquire.com, Men’s Journal, and bridal guide The Knot. His screenplay Nelie was purchased by Onnam Productions and he may well be the only person to speak at Harvard and appear on Fox News Channel during the same week. He is a graduate of Princeton and Yale Drama School, where he received the Cole Porter Prize. His new musical Herbert Hoover: Tanned, Rested, and Ready to Rock goes up at La Jolla Playhouse this fall and he eagerly awaits the next strange twist fate throws at him.
