Rob O’Hara

Rob O’Hara is the most creative and thought-provoking contributor from the first version of When Falls the Coliseum — and he is back. Rob is not at all uncomfortable writing about the taboo, and exposing conventional wisdom. He loves America, but hates Americans. He is a proud Christian, but not a good one. Most importantly, he doesn’t blame his plethora of recent misfortunes on the Bush Administration.
Rob grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, but has had short stints in the Philippines, Miami, North Carolina, and Mexico. He received a B.S. in Advertising and Geography from the University of Miami, and briefly attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT as a graduate MBA student. Today Rob is an Internet business and banking consultant, and language instructor. He lives in Trumbull, CT. When Rob has the energy he stays active in amateur boxing as a trainer and volunteer. Rob spends his down time reading the news, playing chess, and drinking Bud Ice.
