Mark Draughn has been blogging since 2002 at Windypundit.com, where he rants about legal issues, national politics, economics, and culture, even though he’s not a lawyer, hasn’t been to Washington in over a decade, only took the required economics classes, and thinks the best rock song of all time is Axe’s “Rock and Roll Party in the Streets.”

Since the blog has failed to make him an internet superstar — advertising revenue is in the high three figures — Mark earns his living as a contract software developer. His hobbies include photography and computer gaming. He was a volunteer community reporter for the Chi-Town Daily News before it folded.

Mark was born and raised in Chicago, which is also where he went to school, works, and lives with his wife and three cats.
