Lauren Rozek

Lauren LaBumbard is a 31-year-old child. Her professional experience includes brand management and marketing for toys (such as Pokemon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Cabbage Patch Kids), rock bands (such as The Beatles, Kiss and The Doors), and Japanese manga and anime (such as Naruto, Bleach and Death Note). Her hobbies include playing the guitar, collecting piggy banks, watching her favorite sports teams, reading Rolling Stone and US Weekly, and watching 15+ hours of TV a week. Lauren is proud of “The Schedge,” an Excel spreadsheet she’s created laying out her weekly TV programming, noting new series, season premieres, networks, etc., and even more proud that her friends and family, who once ridiculed her endlessly for producing such nonsense, have come to rely on it seasonally.

Lauren just moved back to New York (where she belongs) from San Francisco (where she didn’t belong) with her brand new husband who loves her for who she is, a trivial pop culture freak who knows more about TV, celebrities, gossip, music, and movies than she knows about herself. “Love you too, honey!”

Lauren writes a weekly column for When Falls the Coliseum called “Lauren Likes TV.” Because she does. It is published on Mondays.
