Katie Colvin is a 24-year-old stay-at-home mom who is currently in the last semester of her second bachelors degree (literature) at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has already earned her BA in history.

Wishing she could spend all day reading, she is constantly searching for the perfect career path that will allow her this freedom. So far she has considered a law degree (but got pregnant two weeks before the LSAT) and getting a masters in library science.

She hopes to write an historical romance novel (or two) some day, because they are her guilty pleasure, but so far has only published a poem in the compilation journal her elementary school put together when she was in the sixth grade.

She regularly reviews historical romance novels for When Falls the Coliseum in her column Romancing History.
