David A. Brensilver

David A. Brensilver was raised by cougars in the Montana wilderness before moving east to experience life in such cougar-unfriendly places as Baltimore and New York. Presently, he lives in New London County, Connecticut, the eminent domain capital of the world. There, he takes things for granted, not for fair market value.

When he is not writing, Brensilver, a recovering percussionist with degrees from the Juilliard School (master of music, 1994) and the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University (bachelor of music, 1992), can be found in his backyard, where he is digging an extensive system of tunnels. The tunnels will be guarded by cougars.

Brensilver enjoys smoking — but he can just as easily not smoke, thus proving that nicotine is not addictive, no matter what they say. This pisses off a lot of people. Brensilver does not trust people who do not smoke. He prefers American Spirit cigarettes, which, because they are natural and do not contain additives, are good for you.

David A. Brensilver’s first novel, ExecTV, was published by ENC Press in 2005. The Vatican refused to comment on it.
