Rape by deception?

A man has been convicted of rape by deception. Let’s leave aside the specifics of this case. It’s from Israel. A Jewish woman had sex with a man who had ”introduced himself as a Jewish bachelor seeking a serious relationship.” Introducing himself this way caused them to have “consensual sex in a nearby building.” It turns out that the man was Palestinian. Not so much Jewish. He’ll now spend 18 months in prison. The issue of rape by deception in this particular case can’t be separated from Israeli politics and the unique situation there, so let’s put this particular case aside and consider rape by deception generally.

The judges in the Israeli case said that the sex was “obtained under false pretenses.” We might wonder how often it is obtained any other way. There’s a character on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, Barney Stinson, whose defining behavior is lying to women in order to have sex with them. It’s a running joke on the show — he creates a character with a back story and then lies to dumb women in bars, who believe his story and have sex with him. He is a serial rapist by deception. Barney is not alone. There are men who lie about not being married, about being rich, about being good in bed, about being in love, about being a doctor, about leaving the country in the morning for a stint with Greenpeace, about being able to get the woman an audition — the only limit is the imagination of the male mind. If lying about yourself to get a woman to sleep with you under false pretenses were illegal in the United States, if it could lead to a charge of rape by deception, how many men would be in prison?

  1. It’s not this easy to get American jewish girls to drop their knickers. Is it really like this in Zion? Man, talk about the Promised Land!

  2. “…the only limit is the imagination of the male mind”

Well, that and the gullibility of the female in question.

  3. He’s a Palestinian? If it happened in his . . . country . . . they’d both be stoned. No, wait, just the woman.

  4. More details about the particular case are here.

  5. See how the man haters have framed the debate. Men can be raped in two out of three possible ways that a woman can be raped, but the man haters make it seem like ONLY women can be raped (feminists spread too many lies).

Rape by deception is possibly an important law (if implemented EQUALLY) since it might allow women rapists to be prosecuted as much as men rapists.

For example, large numbers of men would not want to have sex with a 14 yer old girl, but most 14 year old girls LIE about their ages (a form of deception when a woman or girl does it).

Note that some young women are sailing all the way around the world all alone and yet feminists are pretending that women need protection everywhere they go.
