“No, Daddy, no”

I’m sorry about posting this. I really shouldn’t. It isn’t fair to you, my faithful readers. I made the mistake of reading this news story this morning, and I shouldn’t have. It’s fucking disturbing every which way. But it’s in my head now, and if you read it, at least I won’t be the only one hearing the words, over and over, ”No, Daddy, no.” But don’t read it. Just go home after work and hug your kid, maybe pretend for a little while that the world as it is doesn’t exist.

  1. I am not sure how to feel about this.

The son confessed to molesting a very young girl so the father did what he thought was best by executing the son.

While I fully support the execution of convicted (and confessed) child molesters, I can’t help but wonder what was going through the father’s head as he pulled the trigger on his own son.

I have a feeling there is more to this story that was in that short article.

  2. I agree with Preacher. Also: teenagers usually don’t just up and sexually assault toddlers; it’s a “pay it forward” behavior. Somebody must have done it to him - who?
