Fred's dreams

Television

I dream a cooking show is being shot in my father’s basement. The host, a lustful Englishwoman in her 60’s, cooks an elaborate, multi-course breakfast. Meanwhile upstairs, a middle-aged man is laying carpet, and the cooking show host tells her audience she wants to have sex with him. She asks the man on camera, and he agrees. However, the host insists on interspersing their sexual acts with breakfast courses, served on the nicest plates.

I dream in the format of a Seinfeld episode. George is reading a screenplay written by David Schwimmer. George announces that Schwimmer’s script is “shit,” and he threatens to take a shit on the script to express his disdain. Schwimmer dares him, so George pulls down his pants and does it. To protect his integrity, Schwimmer submits the script to producers despite the fact that it’s soiled. Later on, George is despondent, since the producers read Schwimmer’s “shit” script and think it’s avant garde.

I dream I see an article with a picture of Barney the Dinosaur, accompanied by a discussion of a dead man. What I gather from this is that the actor who plays Barney on television died, but the newspaper wants to be evasive about it so as not to frighten or disturb kids. I theorize that the reason some people are more devil-may-care and willing to take risks in life is that they have been reincarnated before, and they know they are going to get another chance. People who are more careful and afraid in life are newbies. I go to a restaurant to discuss this, and I see they have a section with topless waitresses.

  1. awsome fred- dreams to screen plays
like what photography was to painting, instant canvas
    keep going

  2. Your dreams often have recurring themes of breakfast food, sex, lusty buxom women and dead people…often combined in the same dreams. Can’t figure out the connection, but your dreams are funny and entertaining. Do you wake up laughing?

  3. Thanks for the kind words, Denise and Edeldice.

Actually, I don’t wake up laughing. When I am still sort of groggy I speak my dreams into a tape recorder.

I sometimes laugh a few days later when I play them back on slow speed and transcribe them.

I’m glad you like my dreams.
